Seasonal Assistant, Communications

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
- Assist with all daily needs of the communications department, including daily clips, transcriptions, media monitoring and administrative tasks.
- Help manage Chargers media prior to and during daily practice.
- Contribute to portions of the football communications weekly release and flip card.
- Research notes and statistics for football communications.
- Work closely with marketing communications staff to host special guests and track social engagement and impressions of those attendees.
- Assist throughout the department's credentialing processes for home games.
- Generate written content for the team's gameday publication.
- Contribute to communications efforts surrounding additional events, including planning and execution.
- Full-season candidates must have a bachelor's degree or above.
- Ability to work 40-plus hours per week, including all Chargers home games.
- Prior communication experience such as daily clips, transcription, etc., is a plus.
- Possess strong written and organizational skills, along with a keen attention to detail.
- Always exhibit a professional attitude and work well in a team environment.
- Have authorization to work in the United States.
- Have a current driver's license
This position will pay $17.50 an hour.
