About The PositionWe currently have a client in Geneva, NY looking for an Operating Room RN(OR RN)

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling OR RN to work as an Operating room nurse (or perioperative nurse) to assist surgeons during operations and keep the operating room sterile at all times.

Contract Assignment - 13 Weeks (Temporary/Travel/Contract)
Shift: 5x8 Days

Responsibilities:Assess patients prior to surgery (e.g. NPO status) and alleviate their concernsMonitor patient's vital signs to detect anomaliesAssume duties within or out of the sterile field as assignedEvaluate patient in postoperative phasesPass medical instruments or other objects to the surgeon during operationWork Experience: At least 2 years of OR experience
