SUMMARY

We are seeking an Enterprise Software Engineer Senior to join our team. This full time role will work days - open to remote work.

Purpose of the Position: Under limited supervision, provide exceptional support for HCMC applications throughout the systems life cycle and serve as a liaison with operational owners/customers on large and complex projects and work-efforts. Mentors and trains team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage complete lifecycle for large/complex supported applications including implementations, maintenance, upgrades, and retirements
  • Coordinate complex root cause analysis and error resolution. Guide team in the understanding of various error logs (Windows/App/IIS/Firewall/etc.)
  • Educate team in the understanding of basic security best practice activities including Firewall rules on servers/workstations, password and credential management, TLS, and SSL
  • Coordinate team in the understanding and ability to evaluate and modify configuration components (.ini/xml files)
  • Learn all IS&T tools (ServiceNow, Outlook, etc). Act as partner with ServiceNow team in the creation of new forms/workflows
  • Implement and understand best practice around security (Servers/fileshares/IIS/Web servers/etc.)
  • Participate in rotating overnight/weekend on call schedule for off-hours support
  • Translate technical terminology and concepts to non-technical team members. Create high quality documentation/educational materials for the appropriate audience
  • Provide 2nd tier support and troubleshooting for functional/analytical/technical support tickets
  • Work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Understand basic DICOM/PACS config and message parsing/evaluation
  • Review proprietary interface engine messages
  • Provide guidance on basic HL7 message formatting and message evaluation as it pertains to a project/requirement (ADT/Orders/Results)
  • Navigate and configure non-standard O/S (LINUX etc) as directed by instructions
  • Act as project coordinator for small to medium projects that require IS&T resources or analysis
  • Maintain and support Citrix published applications
  • Participate as standing Member of Technical Discovery Team (TDT)
  • Participate in application budget management and analysis activities
  • Participate in Application vendor contract discussions and validation
  • Provide regular and/or off hour on call support as scheduled
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 5 years of relevant experience

  • An approved equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • PACS experience
  • Ability to collaborate and bring teams together
  • Experience developing technical/systems design specifications and building system solutions
  • Experience executing risk mitigation plans
  • Demonstrated ability to spearhead resolution of team related issues

  • Familiarity with Citrix published applications and how to maintain and support
