Description

RN First Assistant - Operating Room at Providence St. Joseph Hospital of Orange in Orange, CA. This position is full-time and will work 12-hour Day shifts.

Under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon, the RNFA functions during the intra-operative phase by directly assisting the surgeon in controlling bleeding, providing wound exposure, suturing and other surgical tasks utilizing nursing and medical functions.

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training Successful completion of an accredited RNFA course. AndCoursework/Training Completion of established hours/cases of program.upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.3 years Experience scrubbing and circulating as a RN in the operating room.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree Nursing.Why Join Providence?
