Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to perform clerical duties within the Spring Grove Hospital Center's Dietetic Department. The\r
position will receive general supervision from the office supervisor and does not supervise others. Some duties performed by this position include, but are not limited to:\r

Maintaining Logs for the dietetics department by collecting the weekly logs/forms (Temperature Logs, and supplemental forms) and tracking by inputting the data into the computer to ensure compliance.\r
Answering Central Kitchen Phone Lines to receive calls from the buildings, to report diet discrepancies to ticket office, and call outs from employees as well as communicating to supervisors and/or managers to ensure proper coverage.\r
Providing clerical assistance by typing and printing labels.\r
Ordering, receiving and distributing office supplies and materials; printing forms such as call out log sheets and other forms needed; and generating and distributing various reports.\r
Assisting with overtime vouchers and documentation.\r

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:�� Completion of the eighth grade.\r
Experience: One year experience performing clerical duties in an office environment.�\r
Notes: �\r
1. Additional experience performing clerical duties may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.\r
2. Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate may be substituted for six months of the required experience. \r
3. Six months clerical training with three courses in subjects such as keyboarding, clerical math, word processing, spreadsheets, data base, graphics presentation, proofreading, or office etiquette may be substituted for six months of the required experience. \r
4.�Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in Administration classifications or Administrative, Clerical or Office Services specialty codes in the Clerical Support field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. \r

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired applicant should possess experience in the following.\r

1. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.\r
\r
\r
2.�Experience in receiving food and pantry items, and/or office supplies and materials.\r
