Duties
  • Serves as Assistant Division Chief in the Client Support Division responsible for developing and monitoring the execution of plans, policies, and procedures for the acquisition, management and use of information technology within the Census Bureau.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates desktop services and support for the Census Bureau. Oversees customer assistance, technical support, and information services needed to facilitate customer access to Census Bureau information technology (IT) resources.
  • Conducts periodic and comprehensive evaluations of customer support and IT service management technologies and procedures and, if necessary, adjusts or refines implementation of such technologies and procedures within the Census Bureau.
  • Gives day-to-day direction to subordinate staff and for performing supervisory duties such as interviewing prospective candidates, evaluating employees, and recommending appropriate actions regarding hiring and promotion.
