The Concierge is responsible for assuring the highest caliber of guest experience for all guests. The Concierge must have information on community events, area attractions, entertainment, shops, restaurants, travel and local businesses. The Concierge must have the ability to assist all guests in making reservations and giving correct, insightful, unique vacation advice.

JOB DUTIES

  • Act as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information about the area.
  • Understand customer's needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the hotel.
  • Ensure that all guests are being taken care of in a professional manner.
  • Keep Chef Concierge informed of all problems or situations that may be of concern on a timely basis.
  • Keep lists of up-to-date information concerning all local activities, special events and area attractions.
  • Be aware of VIP's and special guests.
  • Answer the phone and make guest's reservations for area activities, restaurants and events.
  • Give accurate directions to all parks, restaurants and stores.
  • Know all area restaurants and what they offer.
  • Keep an accurate log of all activity times and seasonal changes.
  • Keep an accurate log of each individual's reservations.
  • Keep an accurate log of all guest packages and special occasion amenities.
  • Assist Front Desk with check-ins and check-outs
  • Support the Hotel Terra & Teton Mountain Lodge environmental commitments by having the knowledge, skills and values to be a leader in the global goal of "greening" the hospitality industry.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as concierge; experience in customer service or relevant role preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of local businesses, area attractions, and community events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and time management.
  • Ability to maintain a calm, unhurried demeanor
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong computer skills. Must have knowledge of Excel, Word, and E-mail usage.
  • High school graduate or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Constant sitting.
  • Frequent walking, bending, reaching and crouching.
  • Occasional kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, and lift to 25lbs
