Overview

The role of Storeroom Stock Clerk involves managing physical and clerical tasks related to receiving and shipping supplies and finished products. Responsibilities include verifying shipping records, inspecting goods for accuracy, and collaborating with transportation companies. This non-exempt position typically reports to the Warehouse Manager or General Manager, based on local requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent service in processing and distributing merchandise to stores
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of deliveries
  • Stock merchandise efficiently and accurately according to standards
  • Fulfill daily orders and review them for precision
  • Manage inventory using computer systems
  • Assist in the transportation of orders between warehouse and stores
  • Identify and handle damaged or expired products
  • Implement product rotation based on code dates
  • Follow security and safety procedures
  • Support warehouse maintenance activities
  • Maintain fixtures, equipment storage, and bin locations
  • Monitor HACCP charts and storage conditions
Requirements
  • Proficiency in communication and comprehension of instructions and documents
  • Ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly manner
  • Physical capabilities to bend, twist, stand, lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license (if required) with a good driving record
