Dakota Supply Group (DSG) is seeking a Digital Catalog & Search Analyst to join our eCommerce team in Plymouth, MN*. As a Digital Catalog & Search Analyst, you will support the growth, productivity, and customer experience on and the Mobile App. This position is responsible for the products within the website catalog and the maintenance of the data, along with the planning, analysis and execution of the impacts of that data.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Digital Catalog & Search Analyst at DSG:

  • Manages digital product catalog and content for and mobile app through DSG's MDM/PIM solution, to represent the breadth and depth of products available at DSG.
  • Coordinates and partners with content service providers and suppliers to improve accuracy of data, identify enhanced content opportunities, and fix issues or gaps in data.
  • Manage workflow of incoming requests for product additions to the website and app, as well as changes to product data.
  • Ensures accuracy of product content through verification of key product attributes, descriptions and other information areas associated with product content.
  • Collect and maintain necessary digital assets for products and manage in DSG PIM and DAM.
  • Create and maintain facets for the website and mobile app that improve the customer experience.
  • Measure performance by analyzing search results and leverage reporting to determine ways to optimize results.
  • Evaluate and maintain taxonomy hierarchy for the website and mobile app.
  • Provide recommendations for changes in standard operating procedures to drive data accuracy, consistency or improves efficiencies.
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams (segment, purchasing, etc.) to ensure catalog assortment is represented on the website and mobile app.
  • Provide regular updates on status of work in progress with team and cross functional partners.
  • All other duties as assigned.

A Successful Digital Catalog & Search Analyst Typically Has:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience in ecommerce, marketing, content development, website search.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional work experience in the area of product content development and management.
  • Experience with digital analytics (Google/Adobe).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge of SEO, website search application, and digital customer experience best practices.
  • Experience supporting increased sales and traffic through online websites related to enhancement of product content.
  • Attention to detail, can-do attitude, and strong analytical skills.
  • Displays professionalism, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a team orientated, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to listen and capture stakeholder needs and recommend solutions.
  • Eclipse ERP and/or Optimizely platform experience (desirable).
