Summary

The Cognos Business Intelligence Developer will be a part of the team that is responsible for developing and reporting solutions using Cognos Analytics and other BI tools as necessary. You will deliver high-quality, high-value projects using Cognos Analytics. As an integral member of our delivery team, the Business Intelligence (BI) Report Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of mission-critical enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) Reports & Dashboards for Infotek Consulting clients. Only candidates with previous Costpoint (5+ years) BI consulting experience and an ownership mentality will be considered.Requirements

At least 8-10 years' Cognos Report & Dashboard Development experience At least 8-10 years' experience with Cognos BI/Analytics Product Suite (Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager, Transformer) Experience with Framework Manager Dimensional Modeling, Design and DevelopmentExperience with Cognos AnalyticsExperience with MS SQL Server or OracleExperience Implementing stored procedures and effectively writing advanced SQL queriesGood understanding of the SDLC processes and practices3+ years' experience working with Deltek ERP applications, Costpoint and Time & Expense Applications and using the Deltek Cognos CER Framework ModelsKnowledge in designing data warehouse and experience with ETL development, preferably SSIS (MS-SQL server integration services)3+ years consulting experienceFamiliarity with Deltek CAP security is a plusAbility to produce results within specified time framesPrior consulting experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaborate with a teamExcellent oral and written communication skillsFamiliarity with Watson Analytics a plusProductive and organized in a remote work environment Great to haveExperience working with Deltek's Costpoint and Time and Expense Applications using the Deltek Cognos CER Framework ModelAbility to produce results within specified time framesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge in designing data warehouse and experience with ETL development, preferably SSIS (MS-SQL server integration services) ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain reports including creating dashboards, ad-hoc query, and analysis, interactive reporting, enterprise reporting and analyticsAdminister Cognos instances, set up access control, and develop and maintain Cognos data models and frameworks.
