COG Consumer -- Manager, Financial and Business Analysis

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB DESCRIPTION

RELATIONSHIP AND SCOPE
This position will report directly to COG Consumer DFO or AVP, FP&A Consumer Lines on the COG DFO/FP&A team. The role will interact with a diverse group of personnel across the globe including COG and regional finance staff, actuaries, underwriters, divisional and regional leadership, and functional staff in support of Chubb's International consumer businesses. This person will perform a broad array of financial planning and analysis work, financial modeling and lead key finance transformational projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further advance their knowledge of both the Chubb organization and the global insurance industry while applying the finance and accounting skills necessary to support the business.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Financial analysis and support to COG Consumer DFO with the following responsibilities:
* Partner with divisional and regional consumer DFO and FP&A teams to analyze and deliver executive communications regarding monthly/quarterly business results, forecast and strategic/annual plan
* Partner with BI teams to develop and automate financial dashboards and reports for finance and business partners across COG consumer
* Provide consolidated functional analyses and reporting (e.g., acquisition expense analysis or channel economics), as required by business partners
* Build financial models to support rolling forecasts and business cases for special projects
* Refine and document key finance processes and procedures as necessary
* Support other ad hoc Finance projects and initiatives identified by management
* Support key COG Consumer data transformation projects
* Act as business analyst for financial or business projects across consumer lines
* Execute on long-term vision for finance transformation and predictive analytics
* Enhance data structure and governance to enable consistent and meaningful financial and operating reporting across regions
* Drive automation to improve efficiencies in regional and divisional forecasting and analytic processes
* Partner with Data, BI and IT teams to build more sophisticated dashboards and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Business with a major in Accounting or Finance
* CPA or MBA designation preferred
* 5+ years of accounting, financial reporting and analysis or business analysis experience
* Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel or other database query tools
* Strong working knowledge of TM1 and PeopleSoft
* Experience/familiarity with GAAP insurance accounting concepts
* Advanced capability and experience with Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines
* Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work independently
* Proven problem-solving skills
