Job Details:

Schedule: Part-time, Full-time, 24/7; PRN (Flexible schedules)

Base Pay: From $12/hour

Driving Requirement: Willing to drive at least 30 minutes to clients' home.

A Caregiver / PCA duties:


• Personal care - showering, bathing, dressing, bathroom assistance


• Remind clients to take prescribed medication


• Assist clients with walking, mobility


• Accompany clients to doctor's appointments, store etc.


• Plan and prepare meals


• Transfers if needed (bed to wheelchair, hoyer lifts, etc.)


• Alzheimer/Dementia care


• Errands such as shopping or accompany clients on shopping trips


• Perform light housekeeping duties


• Be a pleasant and supportive companion


• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent-preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid Driver license
  • Auto Insurance
  • English proficiency and excellent communication skills
  • Two professional references required
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening
  • BLS/CPR

Caregiving experience is not required, but is helpful (private in-home care, assisted living, LTC facilities, etc.). You should have a solid work history with demonstrated reliability, good communications skills, and a caring personality. Each of our clients is special and unique, but typical tasks are listed above.
