Information Technology Engineer

Our company is looking for a highly motivated Information Technology Engineer with experience in managed hardware and cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, developing, and maintaining systems and networks for our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Monitor system performance
  • Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software
  • Provide user training
  • Research and assess new technologies
  • Create and maintain system configuration documentation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Systems Engineering
  • Proficiency in Windows desktop and Linux operating systems
  • Script development for task automation
Desired Knowledge and Experience:
  • Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, MacOS
  • Virtualization technologies such as XenServer, VMWare
  • Active Directory/LDAP, GPO management
  • Networking with Cisco IOS, VLANs, VPN
  • Scripting and automation
  • Network security, ACL management, firewall configuration
  • Work in secure data center environments
  • Cloud services like AWS, Microsoft Azure
  • Hadoop, Hive, SQL environments
  • Redis, IBM Hardware
  • Familiarity with Automated Monitoring tools
