Blair Academy's Office of Advancement has an opening for a full-time Parent Engagement Coordinator . This position will organize multiple on-campus parent events, coordinate parent volunteers, maintain a small portfolio of donor prospects, and provide support for the Associate Director of Advancement. The successful candidate must be highly organized, have superb communication skills and have the ability to multitask. This position reports to the Associate Director of Advancement.


Primary Responsibilities: (This description is not intended to be complete or all-inclusive and does not preclude management from assigning other or related functions.)

? Events/receptions: Plan and coordinate Family Weekend, Grandparents' Day, Summer
Welcome reception, opening-of-school receptions, prom parent reception, co-manage
Peddie Day, assist with additional parent events, including: Blair Today, Golf & Tennis
Outing and Commencement;
? Parent communications: Write/edit monthly Parents' Post e-newsletter, update Blair
Tips booklet and coordinate Blair Bucs newsletter/webpage;
? Parent volunteering: Manage parent volunteer program, update volunteer
opportunities, coordinate parent volunteers for events and send thank you notes; and
? Fundraising: Maintain a small portfolio of prospects, meet with assigned prospects to
solicit Blair Fund gifts and assist with additional Blair Fund parent outreach.

Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree preferred and two years of experience or equivalent;
? Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace;
? Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
? Discretion and confidentiality a must;
? Demonstrated initiative to multitask and meet deadlines across multiple projects;
? Experience with and working knowledge of Raiser's Edge is a plus;
? Ability to work some evenings and weekends; and
? Ability to work as part of a professional team to advance the mission of the School.
