Position Overview
The primary focus of this role is to deliver exceptional customer shopping experiences, drive revenue, and ensure positive operating profits for the department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee sales and profit performance in the assigned department, including meeting shrinkage goals and implementing loss prevention procedures.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to develop operating budgets and track performance.
  • Partner with Buyers and Planners to identify high-potential items and merchandise classifications. Coordinate with the Visual Presentation team for effective merchandise display.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance store operations and merchandise flow to optimize department performance.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and supervision of staff to boost sales and profit. Provide guidance and support to implement customer service initiatives, including succession planning.
  • Execute Polo's promotional strategies to align with sales objectives. Stay informed about market trends and competition performance.
  • Create a welcoming in-store environment that drives customer traffic, promotes loyalty, and exceeds customer expectations.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
  • College Degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant retail management experience, preferably in the luxury retail sector.
  • Strong business acumen and enthusiasm for maintaining Polo's sophisticated lifestyle philosophy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coach and develop a high-performing team.
