Summary

You will serve as a Emergency Consolidated Dispatcher in the Provost Marshall Division of MARINE CORPS BASE.



Duties
  • You will receive all emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance for (fire, police, ambulance and others) on the radio and/or telephone, Base 911, Sprint E-911.
  • You will assist callers on Telephone for Deaf Deficient (TDD), 911 ATT and administrative lines.
  • You will determine the nature and type of the problem/emergency and the type of emergency equipment needed for initial response to the location of the incident.
  • You will scan charts, grid maps, and computer monitors to determine what units are available to respond to the emergency.
  • You will operate Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system and other computer equipment.
