Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing projects and preparing accurate cost estimates. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in plumbing and some experience project estimation and computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Fast Pipe software to prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial plumbing projects.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
• Develop comprehensive proposals and bids for clients
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase
• Utilize Fast Pipe software for quantity takeoffs and estimating
• Maintain accurate records of estimated costs, actual costs, and cost variances

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately price materials, labor, and equipment
• Knowledge of commercial plumbing
• Experience working on construction sites and understanding build processes
• Ability to interpret contract documents and blueprints
• Understand of software for quantity takeoffs a plus
• Excellent project management skills to handle multiple estimates simultaneously
