Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in employment law cases, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage disputes.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft a variety of legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediation sessions.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties when appropriate.

Essential Job Functions:

• Possess a strong understanding of employment law principles and relevant statutes.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage caseloads.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail and maintain accuracy in all work.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Missouri (Kansas licensure is a plus).
