Operate diverse trucks, including tractor trailers, for transporting various cargoes, potentially hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Competently handle heavy equipment, forklifts, and cargo loading/unloading.
  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are in optimal condition, adhere to cargo securement regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, refuel vehicles, and maintain parking areas.
  • Be open to travel as needed.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Lead Technician.
  • Emphasize on maintaining safety standards.
  • Carry out other relevant duties as instructed.

Requisite Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, coupled with 5 years' transporting heavy loads on various trailers, with a sound driving history.
  • Proficient in loading/unloading using straps, chains, and hooks.
  • Capable of vehicle inspections, climbing in/out of cab, and maintaining logs.
  • Punctual attendance, forklift experience desirable.
  • Possession of a valid Class "A" CDL Driver's license with Hazmat certification.
  • Eligible for and able to uphold a Secret security clearance.

Working Conditions:

Reliably transport hazardous/non-hazardous loads in varied weather conditions, with the ability to undertake physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, lifting heavy objects.
