Construction Estimator

We are a commercial based general contracting firm,that has since been providing quality services in Construction Management, CM/GC, design build, consulting, and negotiated projects since teh 1950's.Under the direction of the Pre-Construction Manager, the Estimator will assist with development of project budget estimates, reviews design consultant's construction cost estimates, prepares analysis for project estimator, and prepares estimates of scope changes prior to their initiation and assists with cost optimization of changes under consideration.Reviews Plans & Specifications; interviews Project Construction Manager and Superintendent and develops preliminary schedule.Reviews initial schedule with Project Construction Manager and Superintendent and incorporates changes as necessary.Reviews Contractor's schedule submittals and prepares an analysis report for the Project Construction Manager assessing the conformance with the requirements inAssists the Project Construction Manager with tracking lost work days due to weather or unforeseen work stoppages.Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) fundamentals including developing a CPM resource loaded schedule.Construction production rates for primary commodities in commercial buildings including, but not limited to, demolition, excavation, pile driving, paving, steel construction, formwork, concrete placement, underground utilities, and tenant improvements.
