Alter Domus is currently looking for a new Fund Accountant to join our Private Equity Fund Services Team at our Salt Lake or Ogden, Utah office. This role is a hybrid one, requiring you to be in the office 8 days a month, twice a week. You'll be entering a unique work culture that promotes teamwork and recognizes diligence. The Utah office is renowned for its innovative fund services and has recently launched a highly successful Asset Owner Solutions program. Please Note: If you reside within an hour's distance from an Alter Domus office outside of Utah, you may still be eligible for this position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Participate in preparing various financial documentation such as financial statements, investor statements, K-1s, capital calls, distributions, among others
  • Execute daily and monthly tasks including recording journal entries, processing wires, reconciling trades, and handling loan statements
  • Engage with clients to build and fortify relationships, demonstrating a commitment to delivering quality work within stipulated deadlines
  • Perform any other duties as needed

  • Liaise with tax team members and managers to address any queries or issues related to client work
  • Proficient in working with Microsoft Excel

YOUR PROFILE

  • Hold a degree in accounting (BA or MAcc) or finance
  • Aspire to pursue a career in accounting
  • Prior experience in accounting is advantageous but not mandatory
