Busy and multifaceted Riverview Restaurant is seeking line cook.
The ideal candidate has solid cooking skills, high energy, and a passion for providing excellent plates.
General Schedule: 4-5 days weekly. 1pm - 9pm. Friday & Saturday availability a must.
Essential Duties:
Prep and complete dishes to quality and atheistic standards
Ensure sanitary practices are upheld
Coordinate and facilitate working as a team
Maintain open communication between FOH staff and BOH staff
Control stock rotation & inventory organization
Fill in where needed, whether grilling, sauteing, prep work, banquets and special events
Maintain a secure, clean, organized, and prepared restaurant
Essential Qualifications:
Independent and self-motivated
Be organized, efficient, able to prioritize, plan and manage your time productively
Ability to consistently and clearly communicate with all staff
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Ability to consistently listen, learn, improve and work together within a team to ensure an exceptional guest experience
Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
Weekend and evening availability
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Hourly Salary Averages:
$ $21.50 incl. tips.
Pay breakdown:
$17-19 hourly plus tips (average $2.50 per hour)
Sign-on bonus payable after 90 days of employment.
