Duties
  • You will utilize business intelligence tools such as PowerBI to effectively combine, analyze, and display metric data in online shared environments.
  • You will apply broad knowledge of analysis and design techniques to design, develop, test, install, document, and monitor information technology systems.
  • You will plan, design, and implement computer systems and enhancements that are utilized for the NCIS and the DON.
  • You will conduct preliminary analysis and feasibility studies in order to identify user requirements, management issues and objectives, and provides alternative solutions.
  • You will also conduct analysis of complex systems to create design and screen layouts, reports, tables, and queries.
  • You will provide guidance and training to other computer specialists and operators on operating system characteristics, accessing techniques, search strategies, and security procedures.
  • You will utilize relational database development and management tools, such as Oracle OBA and/or Microsoft SOL Server development and management tools, etc., to design and create software and database systems.
  • You will utilize developing applications such as Microsoft Share Point 2010/2013, or newer, and/or Microsoft Dynamics CRM to extend the functionality of applications for planning and evaluation IT systems.
  • You will utilize web technologies, such as CSS, JavaScript, XML, and Dynamic HTML to develop customized applications for planning and evaluation IT systems.
  • You will apply database management concepts and techniques, computer theory, algorithms, data representation to create a well-structured data model in support of IT-based decision-support, planning, and evaluation systems.
  • You will also apply computer languages, software development methodologies, programming concepts, file systems, and computer architectures to create a well-structured data model in support of IT-based decision-support and planning.
