Online Medical Coding Instructor

Teach medical coding classes online beginning fall of 2024. These courses are offered to freshman and sophomore undergraduate students, enrolled in the Medical Coding Certificate program. The person selected for this position will be responsible for the planning, implementation, teaching, and evaluation of student learning experiences. Blackboard is the Learning Management System utilized by the institution.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in medical coding, allied health, or closely related discipline, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong technology skills, experience teaching in Blackboard, and online teaching experience.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Experience teaching at a community college, CPC (Certified Professional Coder), and CCS (Certified Coding Specialist).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: DCB does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.

SALARY: Based on the DCB Online Salary Matrix.
