Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DIB/MRTFB Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: This position performs a full variety of cargo movement by forklift and motor vehicle operations in support of mobilization and demobilization.



Duties
  • Operate forklifts and container handling equipment capable of lifting 2,000 to 12,000 pounds.
  • Determine manner and sequence of loading and unloading to develop space utilizations plans.
  • Perform visual inspection of materiel handled, reporting any damage, incorrect labeling, or shortage and overage.
  • Receive, locate, store, ship, and re-warehouse materials and equipment in accordance with established procedures and operating requirements.
