Summary

This position is with the Small Business Administration, Citrus Heights 7a Loan Guaranty Processing Center in Citrus Heights, California. Serves as senior loan specialist performing reviews to approve final administrative action on financial and lending activities assigned to the Center.



Duties
  • Reviews and checks the decisions made by the Center staff on 7a loan applications ensuring that the decisions are uniform and have been appropriately evaluated.
  • Ensures that all Center staff establishes appropriate terms and conditions for 7a transactions, which are optimal within SBA guidelines, and negotiates with lenders as required.
  • Analyzes the most complex and/or problematic 7a loan applications nationwide and related financial documents where extraordinary circumstances require an expert's opinion to determine the financial and credit merits of the application.
  • Conducts extensive investigations and analyses to determine the most appropriate action when there are serious and complex questions surrounding a 7a loan application or when the case requires especially sensitive handling because of political or other considerations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
This is a bargaining unit position with AFGE Local 228. This is not a drug testing designated position (TDP).
