Purpose and Scope:

The position is required to perform all Creech Air Force Base supply inventory functions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual inventory schedule, prepare inventory actions, conducting 100% physical inventory, researching and correcting out of balance conditions, performing special inventories.
  • Review M10 report.
  • Assign and monitor freeze codes.
  • Work the warehouse refusal process from cradle to grave and finish work after all research is completed.
  • Submits required documentation to 635 SCOW to freeze locations.
  • Maintains property accounts and records, completing individual transactions, screening reference files, conducting data searches, and distributing output files.
  • Investigates and reconciles discrepancies relating to actions, such as receipt control, stock control, and inventory adjustments by searching different areas of the ILS-S and Logistics Installations Mission Support - Enterprise View (LIMS-EV) Ad Hoc Reporting (Business Objects) to extract information and identify reason(s) for transaction errors and failures.
  • Traces previously researched and unresolved actions and responds to requester.
  • Prepares adjustment forms to correct records and documents.
  • Enters correct information into Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S).
  • Must have an established record of effectively working with Supply personnel to resolve problems using working knowledge of supporting ILS-S and Logistics Installations Mission Support -Enterprise View (LIMS-EV) Ad Hoc Reporting (Business Objects) processes, and procedures.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of academic/technical/military training.
  • AA Degree preferred.
  • This position requires 6 to 9 years' work experience in the Air Force supply systems with an emphasis on Inventory Management Control.
  • Must be familiar with procedural requirements in AFI 23-101, AFMAN and AFH and ILS-S User's Manual.
  • Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and understand English.
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret level security clearance. Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada state driver's license.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Must be able to operate up to a 6k capacity forklift and be able to repetitively hold/balance, reach, flex position, twist, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat/crouch, climb, and sit (all for short or long periods of time). Must have a full range of mobility and endurance and be able to lift objects that weigh a minimum of 45 pounds. Constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Reports to Supply Supervisor – Inspection and Inventory. Full-Time (Five days/ week schedule with minimal overtime projected)
