Sr Robotics Technician

Must be able to work in a professional engineering team-based environment. Engineering teams are responsible for the programming of automated robot systems for customer applications and processes. Duties may include and are not limited to detailed robot programming, offline programming, virtual commissioning, system commissioning, onsite support, internal/external training, and technical consultation. This position may require considerable travel at times. The candidate must be willing to perform hands on robot programming on the customer's floor.

Responsibilities:
The following lists are general responsibilities that may vary from customer to customer.
Automation skills
Basic knowledge of designing programming simulation and testing automated machinery.
Ability to read controls hardware drawings and mechanical sequence of operations.
Basic electrical, pipefitting and mechanical building knowledge would be a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot manifold, water saver and other peripherals and configure them to communicate with the robot.
Understanding of safe robot concepts ex. DCS for Fanuc.

Routing, critical distances, drop lengths, terminations, etc.
Proper bonding and grounding concepts.
