Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our prestigious medical facility in Manhattan, NY.

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic process by performing high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients, producing accurate and detailed images, and providing exceptional patient care.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using medical equipment to visualize internal organs, tissues, and vessels.
  • Capture and analyse appropriate diagnostic images and data for interpretation by physicians.
  • Ensure accurate image labelling, data entry, and patient records maintenance.
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide preliminary findings and assist in the formulation of patient treatment plans.
  • Ensure equipment is wellmaintained, cleaned, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination process.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion when dealing with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Keep abreast of industry advancements, new techniques, and equipment to enhance personal knowledge and improve patient care.

BLS Certification

RDMS
1 year Ultrasound Tech experience
