This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: The position is located at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA.



Duties
  • Ensure communications links between mid-tier and desktop computers are operational.
  • Review contract proposals and monitor vendor performance in fulfilling contractual obligations.
  • Analyze hardware and software devices to ensure effective administration and management of automation requirements.
  • Work with remote and off-depot users when logon and connectivity problems occur.
  • Write shell programs to implement new functions and facilitate migration to state-of-the-art systems.
