Plan, schedule, prepare and effectively conduct education programs; workshops, seminars, and conferences to promotes the parks education program to include, distance learning.

Assist in coordinating special projects (special events, youth initiatives, teacher workshops) from beginning to end.

Develop and present formal and informal audience and learner centered interpretive experiences using interpretive skills, techniques, and tools delivered in person and through interpretive media and technology.

Train, mentor, coach, and evaluate a broad range of interpretive and educational programs and products conducted by fellow interpreters, critiques these activities and recommend individual or program improvements.

Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.

Promotion to the full performance level is neither guaranteed nor implied and will be based solely on your ability to satisfactorily perform the work of the position, existing work at the higher grade level, and recommendation by the position's supervisor.
