Required Skills & Experiences Infrastructure Automation Engineer(IAE) is essentially a Software Developer who has skills on a Cloud Platform Cloud Domain Specific Language (DSL) (like Pulumi Cloud Formation etc) Cloud API's Source Code repositories Orchestration Frameworks like (Jenkins CodeFresh etc) Networking Cloud Security Infrastructures to configure the desired Infrastructure based on the design for the Cloud Infrastructure.

This role works with other application software developers system operators (SysOps) and other IT teams to execute the following Builds the Infrastructure configuration code taking into consideration reuse extensibility and scalability requirements.

Builds the necessary testing automation for testing the infrastructure being built/configured Use the proper tools and implementing the processes that can automate manual technology tasks Ensures that final infrastructure has all the features in the original specifications Assists the team with integration of the application with the infrastructure components where required and ensuring that the application is able to leverage all the capabilities of the Cloud Provider.
