At Regions, the Software Engineer oversees application development, modification, and maintenance of applications. This position monitors system applications, ensures systems run smoothly, and creates reports and other documentation outlining findings/solutions. This position sits within Regions' Technology department.

Primary Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Seven (7) years of experience

Additional Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Configure Salesforce and provide best practice recommendations.
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure the org is stable and up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases.
  • Perform refreshes from the production environment to lower environments.
  • Deploy code from lower environments to production.
  • Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exercise a high level of judgment, particularly in complex organizational settings.

Qualifications

  • Must possess an active Salesforce Advanced Developer or Platform Developer II Certification and Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Demonstrated experience practicing Agile development methodologies.
  • Proven experience utilizing source control on a Salesforce project.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce administration and development, including security, standard objects, reports/dashboards, Chatter, Knowledge,
  • Communities, Chat, data management, and sandbox environments.
  • Proficiency in advanced development tools and techniques, such as Apex language, custom development, triggers, controllers, JavaScript, SOAP and REST APIs, JSON, Objects, SOQL, SOSL, API, Lightning Components, and Visualforce pages.
  • Experience using Salesforce's standard development tools, including Salesforce CLI, Data Loader, and VS Code with the Salesforce Extension Pack.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce features, including Lightning Web Components, and OmniScript.
  • Salesforce Connected Apps, outbound messaging, Salesforce Events, and Apex callouts.
  • Experience using Salesforce DX and scratch orgs on Salesforce implementation projects.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Platform II Certification
  • Plus: Salesforce DevOps experience.

This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary locations being for Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

50th Percentile:

$158,420.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:
