Enterprise IT (EIT) provides essential support to various departments. The EIT SAP Platform Team manages our Company's SAP Global Template asset, ensuring efficient business processes. The team handles the operation of all SAP solutions, asset governance, and cost-effective delivery to support business objectives.

The EIT SAP Integrated Delivery & Design Authority Lead is responsible for leading the SAP Design Authority, governance, and optimization of SAP ERP and business processes. They provide strategic direction, manage the team, and ensure efficient business process operation. This role reports to the Executive Director, SAP Platform Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy:
    • Develop and execute strategic direction for the SAP Design Authority.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the team.
    • Lead global teams for SAP delivery and governance.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
  • SAP Design Authority Management:
    • Build and lead a high-performing SAP Design Authority team.
    • Enforce design principles and standards.
    • Review and approve SAP configuration changes.
    • Mentor and provide development opportunities to team members.
  • SAP Cross-Functional Delivery:
    • Oversee successful delivery of SAP solutions.
    • Collaborate with peers for best-in-class delivery.
    • Collaborate with other teams for aligned prioritization.
  • SAP Functional Expertise:
    • Possess expertise in key business areas.
    • Provide guidance to optimize SAP business processes.
    • Stay updated on SAP developments for process improvements.
  • SAP Configuration and Development Governance:
    • Ensure SAP changes align with requirements and standards.
    • Define change control processes for system stability.
    • Collaborate with teams for SAP enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align SAP solutions.
    • Advise senior management on leveraging SAP capabilities.
    • Build strong relationships with partners and vendors.
  • Data, Analytics and User Experience Governance:
    • Implement data standards for data integrity.
    • Lead analytics governance for business needs.
    • Drive adoption of analytics best practices.
    • Establish UX standards for SAP.

Desired Education Level:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of SAP solution experience.
  • Life Sciences Industry experience preferred.
  • 3+ years with SAP S/4HANA preferred.
  • Experience in cross-functional business processes.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Experience in finance and budget management.
