Mulberry is hiring for a DevOps Engineer to help build a modern platform transforming how insurance is priced and offered at the point of sale. As a DevOps Engineer at Mulberry, you will be working with a close-knit team with deep experience building financial products for e-commerce.

What You'll Do:

Oversee the maintenance and scalability of our infrastructure
Improve upon processes for monitoring the health, security, efficiency, and scalability of systems
Ensure sufficient logging, monitoring and alerting around availability and overall system health
Respond to incidents / emergencies within our infrastructure/stack
Help build CI/CD pipelines allowing developers to push their changes to production with high confidence
Work collaboratively across different teams helping to define and deliver new products and features
Share knowledge and ensure the security, operability, quality, and scalability of your work
Document processes and engineering standards
Automate manual workflows as much as possible
Participate in on-call rotation
Keep track of industry trends in the DevOps space and suggest/implement new tools and processes

What we're looking for:

3+ years of experience implementing DevOps / infrastructure / AWS
5+ years of overall software development experience
Previous experience in backend development preferred
Computer Science or equivalent STEM Degree with relevant experience
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, ECS etc
Relational Database management experience (PostgreSQL, upgrades, redundancy, failover, multi-region)
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Jenkins X/CircleCI/Codeship)
Experience with incident management, on-call rotation
Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated
Great communication and problem-solving skills
