Receptionist

A health care facility in Kihei is seeking a Receptionist to provide administrative support to their clinical staff by answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handing medical insurance authorizations.

The ideal candidate will have previous data entry and customer service experience.

Hours
Full-time, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm | Wednesday, 7:30am-7:00pm

Location
Kihei, Maui

Pay
$21 to $24.50 an hour

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers as they walk in.
  • Answer phone calls/emails and relay messages.
  • Sort incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Schedule and follow up on patient appointments.
  • Process insurance co-payments and input billing information.
  • Order and maintain office and clinic supplies.
  • Run errands as needed.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Previous data entry and customer service experience required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
