Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on, high-throughput laboratory experiments, focusing on efficient sample processing.

Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain state-of-the-art automation equipment tailored for genomic research.

Design, program, and refine scripts for automated liquid handling platforms, enhancing lab efficiency and productivity.

Conduct experiments with precision, ensuring the reliability and reproducibility of results.

Analyze data from experiments, aiding in the interpretation and understanding of results, contributing valuable insights to the team.

Collaborate effectively within the research team, supporting the achievement of project milestones and objectives.

Keep comprehensive records of experimental methods and findings, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for future reference.

Qualifications:
Holds a BS or MS degree in a relevant scientific field such as Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or similar.

Demonstrated experience in a high-throughput lab environment, with a preference for backgrounds in genomics.

A strong foundation in the use and maintenance of laboratory automation technologies, especially liquid handling systems.

Proficient in both manual and automated pipetting techniques, showcasing exceptional technical skills.

Skilled in developing and debugging scripts for automating laboratory processes, with a keen eye for enhancing efficiency.

Exceptional organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Superior communication skills, both in writing and verbally, facilitating clear and effective team collaboration.

Proven ability to work autonomously and as an integral component of a team, demonstrating adaptability and commitment.

Preferred

Qualifications:
Advanced experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies and data analysis.

Prior exposure to bioinformatics tools and software for genomic data interpretation.

Experience in project management within a laboratory setting, showcasing ability to oversee projects from conception to conclusion.

Familiarity with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and safety protocols in a research environment.

Demonstrated creativity and innovation in problem-solving and experimental design.
