The Manufacturing and Quality Tech team leverages technology and analytics to transform and scale manufacturing to the digital plant of the future and support manufacturing operational excellence and productivity. This team helps produce medicines using machine learning and robotic capabilities with some of the most sophisticated manufacturing technologies and rigorous quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

You will work as a business integrator in a growing organization to help design and develop new solutions to our manufacturing execution challenges in an industry that is every-changing with higher quality and regulatory expectations. This role will tackle business problems and improve business processes by identifying and ensuring the most appropriate solutions are deployed. This role will have a critical part in the digital transformation for Indy Parenteral developing and implementing new capabilities to the manufacturing site while continuing to enhance and apply existing capabilities.

You will identify key areas of opportunity where digital transformation can be a lever to improve supply resiliency, increase agility and flexibility in operations, and reduce risk. Specific areas of emphasis are Analytics and Data Science, Wearable Technologies, Paperless, AI, Digital Upskilling, Digital Workforce, and IT/OT. You will interface with site process and flow teams, Tech at Lilly leadership, global MQ Tech at Lilly functional teams, and the broader Tech at Lilly community at a project, application, or program level, and will help with the support of existing solutions.

How You'll Succeed

You will engage with the business and Tech at Lilly leadership to identify and drive opportunities to deliver business value.With a high level of curiosity, you will lead and understand business requirements and bring business process subject matter expertise to build/apply solutions.You will interface with manufacturing site process and flow teams, Tech at Lilly leadership, global MQ Tech at Lilly functional teams, and the broader Tech at Lilly community at a project, application, or program level.You will be responsible for helping with business cases to bring on new services or change existing services while also negotiating clear service levels to meet business availability expectations.Jointly with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to or coordinate the development of technical solutions.You will lead the definition and gathering of requirements.You will create and/or contribute to the development of organizational change management plans to support digital transformation initiatives.You will assist in measuring the value our solutions bring to the business.You will support client acceptance testing and define criteria.You will assist in setting up and facilitating program-level governance at the site for implementations.You will identify external companies to partner with and to accelerate delivery.You will be responsible for building quality and data integrity into solutions through awareness and knowledge of regulatory, legal, or quality requirements impacting the business area.Through curiosity and initiative, stay abreast of latest technology standards and trends.You will ensure that incident, problem, configuration, and change/release management are all done with alignment and understanding of business need.By applying influence and organizational skills, you will have an opportunity to lead program implementations and be a point of contact to site for global implementations.You will support local solutions as a business integrator partnering with system owner and custodians.You will conduct benchmarking internally and externally, if required.What You Should Bring Strong problem-solving skills, analytical, & process improvement skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and articulate complex technical conceptsAdaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyDemonstrated curiosity for continuous learningCustomer and team orientedExperience leading project implementationsOrganization skills and self-motivatedYour Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 1-3 years of IT experience, software engineering, and/or digital capabilitiesAdditional Preferences:Experience supporting/developing IT applications/solutionsKnowledge of manufacturing operations, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) experience, or Pharmaceutical Industry experienceExperience working in a GXP, regulated environmentKnowledge of Computer System ValidationAdditional Information:Position based in Indianapolis, Indiana8-hour days, possible after-hour supportOn site presence minimum 4 days a weekOccasional travel may be required.Must maintain a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all health and safety corporate and site goals.
