Fairview Health Services is seeking a full-time AP/CP-boarded or board eligible, Surgical Pathologist with expertise/training in Gastrointestinal Pathology, to join community practice based at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN.

Practice Details:

Join a team of community Pathologists, working in close collaborations with pathologists at the University of MinnesotaLead the Fairview Health Services Gastrointestinal Pathology practice serving the community hospitalsPractice base: M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital; privileges at Southdale, Ridges, Northland, Lakes, St. John's, Woodwinds, Bethesda, University of Minnesota Medical Center, and Fairview clinicsCall Frequency: On rotation schedule with other Fairview pathologistsAreas of practice: Gastrointestinal pathology, including medical liver pathology. Frozen section service. Rapid on-site evaluation for specimen adequacy of surgical and cytology specimensExperience/training in gastrointestinal pathology preferredParticipate in the Anatomic Pathology quality management program of the community hospitals.Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

QualificationsGraduate of an ACGME-accredited Pathology residency training programBC/BE in Anatomic Pathology by The American Board of PathologyGastrointestinal Pathology Fellowship training or equivalent experienceLicensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice LicensureMeet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
