Role: Oracle DBA

Location: Deerfield, IL (Onsite)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM Resource to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Inventory management, Purchasing, Order Management, and Warehouse management services. The candidate should also have at least 10 years of relevant experience, including working with Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Work with High Availability Oracle Database with 3L capabilities.
• Handling higher size databases ~40TB size (multiple databases).
• Migration from Oralce12C to 19C.
• Handle/support Data guard setup/migration/upgrade.
• Handling JTF and CABs.

Qualifications:

• Exadata Machine Management: Proficient in Grid and ASM database management in Exadata Machine [X5-4], [X4-2] Full, Half & Quarter RAC.
• Snapshot Standby Database: Configured snapshot standby databases.
• Exadata Storage Monitoring: Monitored and maintained Exadata storage using CELLCLI utility.
• Production Alert Configuration: Configured and monitored production alerts from 12c OEM Cloud.
• Database Migration: Migrate Oracle database 11g & 12c into Oracle Cloud platform (OCI) using Expdp/Impdp.
• Grid Installation: Installed 11gR2 Grid in RAC and Non-RAC environments on Linux Servers.
• CRS Installation: Installed 11gR1 CRS in RAC and Non-RAC environments on Linux Servers.
• Oracle Replication Technologies: Experienced in Oracle Stream & Golden Gate for schema level replication.
• Database Installation: Installed and configured 11g, 10g, 9i Database in RAC & Non-RAC Environments.
• Database Upgrade: Upgraded database from Oracle 10gR1/10gR2 to 11gR1, 11gR1 to 11gR2, and 12c to 19c.
• ASM Instance Management: Managed ASM instances including disk group creation, disk add/drop/rebalance.
• Patch Application: Applied security and critical patches at all database levels.
• DR Implementation: Implemented and administered Disaster Recovery.
• RMAN Backup: Configured and restored RMAN backups.
• Data Guard Setup: Set up Data Guard [Standby database] manually and using RMAN duplication.
• Database Cloning: Cloned databases using RMAN Duplication.
• DB Storage Conversion: Converted DB storage from file system to ASM and vice versa.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $94,700/Year to $116,500/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
