The city of Lowell is seeking qualified, experienced, and energetic candidates for the position of Head Clerk within the Wastewater Department.

Performs a variety of clerical duties requiring a high degree of decision making and complete knowledge of the function of the department.

Interprets policies, rules and regulations of the department. Receives requests, instructions or information. Investigates records, files and other information sources to obtain necessary information. Compiles lists of data or information. Classifies information according to office procedures. Transfers or posts information to records.

Writes, types, or enters information into computer to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents, copying information from one record to another.

Must have at least three years of full-time or equivalent part-time office experience. The salary range is $27.09 (min) to $29.15 (max) per hour; 40 hours/week.
