The DuPont MultibaseTM Copley Ohio Site is currently seeking outstanding candidates for a key leadership position with the site management team.


This position leads the QA/QC Lab team and quality systems at the Copley manufacturing facility, with a strong focus on people development and leadership.

As a member of the plant management team, this role will utilize your technical background and people management skills to deliver quality and process performance as well as support and lead continuous improvement goals.

Manges the site Quality Assurance programs to improve customer satisfaction and quality related performance. Supervises activities of dedicated Quality staff at the site.

Implements and maintains the site quality management system, implements business unit quality improvement strategies at the site level, establishes and publishes appropriate quality performance metrics, analyzes performance and recommends improvement programs related to product, process and procedures.

Coordinates reporting, accurate and timely communication to the quality policy, quality principles, and quality performance within the site. Responds to customer quality complaints and inquiries using the T&I workflows.

We are looking for a results-driven, people-oriented individual to be responsible for the following tasks:
Lead the lab team to effectively manage and support the overall plant objectives and organizational culture

Establish and maintain quality systems to ensure conformance to customer specifications – includes release and specification process, complaint process, and interaction with external customers

Provide leadership to direct report employees along with facilitating career development, performance goals and feedback discussions

Facilitate collaboration with the MultibaseTM R&D organization

Guide troubleshooting and continuous improvement projects

Foster an environment of continuous improvement of our technology and quality systems

Create an environment with open communication and feedback

Support site yield improvement processes

Development and deployment of quality planning elements that advance the QMS.

Primary customer contact and intermediary when escalation of Quality issues occur.


Member of the Site Management Team and represents the site to DuPont Business and Functional Leadership, customers, government agents, and regulatory and governing bodies.


Develop and lead the site's strategic Quality plan with input from Operations, the Global Quality Manager, Sales and Marketing leaders, business managers, R&D, technology leaders and customers.

Translate customer quality requirements into executable plans that drive the development of site capabilities.

Influence the leadership network to support Quality initiatives and improvements.

Develop and review performance indicators and drive improvement.

Review Quality metrics & programs and recommend areas for organizational focus and attention.

Ensure the corrective and preventative action systems are used to satisfy customers and promote improvements.

Lead customer, supplier and ISO certification audits

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Technical/Management-related fields highly preferred

Supervisory or project management experience highly preferred

Industrial laboratory or quality assurance experience highly preferred

Demonstrated mindset of continuous improvement and being results focused in both manufacturing processes and business systems

Self-starter with analytical and detail-oriented mindset

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent decision-making skills
