Enterprise SATCOM / Network AdministratorUnited One Communications is recruiting for an Enterprise SATCOM / Network Administrator to join our team based in Scott, AFB.Responsible for build-outs and maintenance of the IP infrastructure, using iDirect, Linkway, and Advantech technology and familiar with many application and network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Orion Network Monitoring System (NMS), E-Health, Netcool, INMS, VX Builder, VX Watch, Cisco Call Manager (CCM), Viasat VINE Manager, iBuilder, Monitor, and iSite.Excellent communications skills and will be required to coordinate with external offices and agencies, including the DISA CONEX Branch, network users, MILSATCOM and Commercial SATCOM vendor NOCs, DISA Gateway Service Desks (GSD) and IP NOCs, DISA Tactical Mission Directors, and other DoD and contractor communications planners, managers and operators.Skilled in Satellite Communications (SATCOM), earth station equipment, and associated terrestrial systems.Experienced in implementing and delivering DISN services (VoIP, VoSIP, VTC, JWICCS, NIPR, SIPR) and Transport (MSPP, MPLS, Promina) through SATCOM Gateways.Expert knowledge of voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) gateways, call managers, performance enhancing proxies (PEP), and telephony systems.Knowledge of RF theory, characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages associated with the myriad SATCOM bands (L, C, X, Ku, and Ka).
