- You will serve as the media manager for the Installation Environmental Program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Adapting to the latest technologies in environmental protection; 2) Developing compliance program monitoring parameters and procedures; 3) Assessing the impact of the Installation's activities on public safety and the environment; 4) Demonstrating professional knowledge of biological and environmental scientific principles, concepts, cultural resources, pest management, installation restoration, or Environmental Management Systems (EMS); and 5) Applying and demonstrating compliance to state and local environmental laws and regulations.
