We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our Partnership Tax development team as a Tax Analyst. In this role, you will leverage your tax knowledge and experience to significantly impact our customers' success. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and testing our UltraTax CS 1065 product line using proprietary development tools. You will gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements from various sources, including external tax authorities and internal stakeholders, to ensure we deliver the most dependable tax software in the industry.

About the Role
In this opportunity as a Tax Analyst, you will:
- Analyze tax forms, instructions, related laws, and other agency guidance to ensure the accuracy and compliance of our tax preparation software
- Collaborate with the technology team and write design specifications to implement changes and enhancements
- Design the client interface, including input screens and worksheets
- Collaborate and coordinate with teams to obtain forms approval and electronic filing approval of tax products
- Test software products to ensure quality and reliability
- Write help documentation to assist customers in navigating the software
- Provide assistance to the support team to resolve client inquiries and issues
About You
You're a fit for the role of Tax Analyst if your background includes:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Two or more years of recent income tax experience, including preparation of passthrough entity tax returns (partnerships and/or S Corporations)
- Extensive knowledge of tax requirements
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Additional desired experience: Professional certification, e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA); State, city, and local income tax preparation; Electronic filing of tax returns; Experience with UltraTax CS software
