Trade Operations Specialist

Trading Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the daily trade management work flow, which involves tasks such as trade entry, confirmation, and entity allocations.
- Collaborating with Traders and Analysts to fulfill various requests, including those related to new markets, new products, P&L analysis, exposure assessment, and trade activity inquiries concerning the portfolio.
- Working closely with Traders and the Compliance team to establish new brokerage and derivative relationships, while ensuring best execution practices.
- Conducting daily valuations across all asset classes.
- Reviewing daily P&L reports and control diagnostics, and generating nightly reports for the organization.
- Managing collateral for both cleared and non-cleared OTC derivative portfolios.
- Coordinating with our Administrator to assist in maintaining and reviewing daily cash, position, and accrual reconciliations.
- Overseeing the settlement process for all electronic and derivative securities.
Trading Operations Specialist Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with a GPA exceeding 3.25.
- At least 4 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a specific requirement of relevant hedge fund experience.
- Proficiency in securities processing and operations, with a particular emphasis on credit products, capital structures, and derivatives.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and market data.
- Comfortable and effective communication with both Front Office personnel and Senior Management.
