What You'll Do

Avalara is looking for an experienced Sr.Marketing Analytics Manager to join our team.

You will be reporting to our Sr. Manager, Digital Business Strategy.

This role can remain 100% remote within the U.S.

Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for web analytics and a knack for problem-solving? Do you have a strong background in data analysis and reporting? As our Sr. Marketing Analytics Manager, you will leverage web data to develop meaningful insights and strategies to support our digital programs. You will lead a team of web analysts and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure data-driven decisions are made across the organization. To be successful in this role, you have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as an understanding of web analytics and digital marketing. What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Create reports and present findings to senior management
  • Own and manage daily web reporting needs for the Unpaid channel
  • Develop and implement web analytics to support digital marketing initiatives
  • Leverage web data to develop meaningful insights and strategies to support digital initiatives throughout the lead to sales funnel.
  • Manage a team of web analysts.
  • Monitor website performance and provide recommendations for optimization
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve web analytics and reporting
  • Manage large-scale data sets and have an advanced understanding of Adobe Analytics, Snowflake, PowerBI and SQL
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of Adobe Analytics solutions, and reporting solutions that connect multiple data sources
  • Educate non-technical stakeholders on complex technical concepts related to Adobe Analytics and reporting
  • Stay up to date with web analytics best practices
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance of Adobe Analytics solutions and other reporting platforms
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to Adobe Analytics implementation
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all Adobe Analytics solutions
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Adobe Analytics solutions for our corporate website and multiple web properties.
  • Manage large-scale data sets and have an advanced understanding of Adobe Analytics. An understanding of lead-to-sales reporting funnels and a high level of comfort communicating results up and down the chain.
