Duties

The incumbent of this position will be responsible for:

  • Discussing relevant facts, legal issues, and case strategy with attorneys;
  • Researching and analyzing case facts, applicable points of law, and producing court motions;
  • Complete background work required, obtain necessary reports and recordings;
  • Provide draft pleadings to attorneys for review and filing;
  • Provide a variety of litigation support services by researching, interpreting, and applying a body of law;
  • Review and edit district court legal pleadings and appellate briefs; and
  • Properly apply proper format, style, and correct citations in compliance with the rules of the U.S. District Court, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Federal Rules of Criminal Appellate Procedures.
