You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/CUSTSPT) in IT SERVICE MANAGEMENT (N361), SHORES NETWORK (N36), OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (N3) at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific (NCTAMS PAC).

You will prepare, submit, and track Move, Add, Change (MAC) requests.
You will provide first-level Navy and Marine Corps Internet (NMCI) technical support to the command and supported Dets.
You will coordinate NMCI deployments and technical refreshes.
You will track and report recurring or site-specific technical problems.
You will escalate issues to the Customer Technical Representative (CTR).
You will test and accept completed network projects on the behalf of the Department of the Navy (DoN).

You will provide recommendations and decisions on issues, problems and unusual technical situations involving policy and interpretation of conflicting standards, regulations, and procedures.

You will adapt general networking and telecommunication standards, practices and theories to situations which may develop at the user or inter-service activities.
