Job Description
I. Job Summary
This position is primarily responsible for maintaining all painted surfaces on property.
II. Job Responsibilities
Description of Job Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests encounter on resort property.
  • Check for any painting issues on property through regular preventative rounds.
  • Check condition of exterior/interior doors. Paint if needed.
  • Check condition of all painted surfaces walls, ceilings, doors, baseboards and crown molding; paint as needed.
  • Fill cracks, holes or joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives.
  • Cover surfaces with dropcloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting.
  • Smooth surfaces, using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, steel wool, or sanding machines.
  • Read and complete work orders to determine work requirements.
  • Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats.
  • Report anything that is suspicious to security as soon as it comes to your attention.
  • Report anything that might be considered a safety hazard to your supervisor or correct the issue on the spot.
  • Leave golf cart clean and plugged in at the end of the shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
